The Justice Band

Ollie_All.JPG

The Justice band is composed of a diverse group of musicians.  A wide range of musical influences have lent to creating a unique country rock and blues sound.  Playing the classics with a hint of modern influence, and the "new country sound" with a definite classic presence, Justice prides itself in its ability to entertain audiences of all ages and walks of life through a thoughtful mix of country, rock, and blues.

The band-

Danny Miller Sr. is the Justice band's lead guitarist.  He also shares in the vocal four part harmonies that set the Justice band apart from many other bands in the area.  His musical talent has impressed audiences for thirty-nine years in Iowa, Arkansas, and Missouri as well as landing him first prize in talent contests in the Midwest.

Danny Miller Jr. brings a strong male vocal presence to any party atmosphere.  Ready to strum and hum at a moment's notice, Jr. has three solid years of gigging under his belt.  Just keep an eye on him, he might pop up just about anywhere during the set, including on the bar, the roof, in a tree....

Kerri Miller's solid vocal preformances have been developed over thirteen years of singing on stage. Her ability to pour her heart and soul into her performances have landed her three Bill Riley Talent Show wins at the local level, performaces at the Iowa State Fair, and several awards for her vocal talent locally.

Thadd Gray, rhythym guitar and vocalist, has been playing for sixteen years including eight years in Nashville, Tennesee.  He also has won talent contests, his at the Broken Spoke in Nashvillle where so many country careers have been launched.  He has sung on 650 AM (WSN) the home of the Grand Old Opry on the Midnight Jamboree show.  Not only can he play a guitar, but he also used to help make them when he worked for Gibson Guitar Company in Tennessee.

Jim Settles sits in on drums.  Having played for over 40 years, including time in a traveling band to pay for college, there seems no bound to his musical knowledge and rythmic ability.

Billy Hill on bass helps provide the foundation for Justice's harmonies to build on.  This Iowa native's career spans sixteen years of playing guitar and bass for a variety of genres, including for the United States Navy.

Justice Band is proud of our music, proud of our reputation, and honored at the opportunity to entertain your event, establishment, or town.  Be assured that Justice's shows are professional entertainment performances.  Our list of gigs include many town celebrations such as 4th of July shows, annual festival days, or music festivals. Justice has also played events for presidential hopeful Ron Paul during his 2008 campaign in cities throughout Iowa.  We look forward to an opportunity to bring our music to your venue.
